First implemenation mission a success!

July of 2003 saw the completion of CSIH's first implementation mission to Guyana. Meetings were held with our partners within the Ministry of Health, other NGOs working in the area, patient advocacy groups, local media and other stakeholders. Progress was made in many areas, including identifying technical partners and work sites.

The first year workplan was agreed upon by officials from both the Guyana Ministry of Health and the Canadian International Development Agency, and CSIH hosted a press conference to announce the new project to the country.
